Job Summary and Qualifications The Patient Experience Specialist collaborates with facility leaders and clinical nurse educators to assure Service Excellence execution also incorporates family members and physician involvement. The Patient Experience Specialist must be comfortable as an educator, analyst, consultant, role model and unwavering advocate for service excellence. All focused on helping drive exceptional care and a superior patient experience What you will do in this role: Demonstrate knowledge and expertise related to Service Excellence to support Service Excellence best practices are properly integrated. Demonstrate knowledge and expertise related to the Preceptor Development Program and Process Demonstrate advanced educational/teaching skills in the use of the adult learning principles. Use advanced skills of consultation and change theory to integrate Service Excellence. Evaluation participation. Provide feedback to unit leaders to assist with evaluation of preceptor-orienteer dyad. Consult and collaborate with unit leaders in counseling Preceptors. What qualifications you will need: REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS: REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 2 years of healthcare experience Associate Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field PREFERRED EDUCATION, LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Minimum 1-3 years leadership experience Texas RN license or CPPS Training facilitation experience Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare is the leading healthcare provider for El Paso and the surrounding region.
