Data Architect – Tallahassee, FL (Onsite)We are seeking a Data Architect with deep experience in enterprise data design, database architecture, and large-scale systems. This role supports key initiatives within a State of Florida agency, focused on building scalable, efficient, and well-governed data environments.What You’ll Be DoingDesigning and implementing enterprise-wide data architecturesDeveloping and optimizing data models, data marts, and operational data storesBalancing data access, performance, and resource utilization across systemsDefining and enforcing data standards, policies, and governance frameworksLeading efforts in data acquisition, access design, and database optimizationSupporting recovery strategies and data load processesServing as a technical lead or subject matter expert across multiple projectsWhat We’re Looking For7+ years of experience with large, complex database management systemsStrong background in data modeling, database design, and architectureExperience establishing data standards and governance practicesAbility to work across multiple technical areas and business unitsProven experience leading projects or mentoring junior team membersStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsEducationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-impact, enterprise environments and enjoys shaping how data is structured, accessed, and leveraged across an organization.At this time, we are only considering direct applicants.
