Job Description:Position Overview We are seeking a Board Certified Pediatrician (MD/DO) for a full-time opportunity in Othello, Washington. This role provides comprehensive care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults across both outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings. The ideal physician is passionate about high-quality, patient-centered pediatric care and thrives in a collaborative, community-focused environment.LocationOthello, Washington Rural healthcare setting with strong community impact️ Schedule & Responsibilities Full-time pediatric practice Combination of outpatient clinic + inpatient hospital care Call coverage required:WeekdaysEveningsWeekendsHolidays Shared coverage with medical team for continuity of care Clinical Responsibilities Provide primary, acute, chronic, and emergency pediatric care Perform:Physical examsDevelopmental screeningsDiagnostic evaluations Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric conditions Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans Ensure continuity of care across clinic and hospital settings Maintain accurate EMR documentation Hospital & Clinical Duties Maintain active hospital privileges Provide inpatient pediatric care Participate in full-spectrum pediatric call coverage Coordinate with nursing and medical staff for patient management Ensure seamless transitions between inpatient and outpatient care Collaboration & Professional Expectations Participate in quality improvement and peer review initiatives Attend provider meetings and continuing education activities Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams Support training and organizational development initiatives Maintain professionalism, ethics, and patient confidentiality Patient Interaction Build strong relationships with children and families Educate caregivers on preventive care, treatment plans, and medications️ Communicate clearly with staff and leadership teams Provide culturally responsive pediatric care Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completion of accredited Pediatric Residency Active or eligible Washington State medical license Board Certification in Pediatrics required Experience with EMR/EHR systems Strong clinical judgment and pediatric expertise️ Excellent communication and teamwork skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Rural or outpatient pediatric experience preferred Work Environment & Physical Requirements Clinic + hospital-based practice setting Travel between clinic sites may be required Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform standard clinical duties Valid driver's license requiredThis is an excellent opportunity for a Pediatrician seeking a meaningful rural practice, combining outpatient and inpatient care with strong community impact, collaborative support, and comprehensive pediatric scope in Washington State.
