Maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment.Duties And ResponsibilitiesDemonstrates outstanding hospitality and service throughout each shift with customers, managers, and team membersDemonstrates teamworkTakes food and beverage orders from customersAccepts customer payments and processes quickly and accurately in accordance with Genghis Grill cash handling policiesFollows company cash handling policies and proceduresCompletes opening duties, shift, and closing dutiesDelivers food and beverages to customers in a timely mannerSuggestively upsells when options exist for liquor or food itemsFollows all sanitation and safety policiesMaintains the server stations ensuring they remain stocked throughout the shiftEnsures table maintenance throughout the dining experienceAble to fill in as needed to ensure a smooth experience for customers and team membersMaintains a safe working environment and reports any safety issues to management immediatelyMaintains valid state and local food handlers and alcohol certificationsAdheres to all Genghis Grill policies and proceduresAdvises Restaurant Manager/General Manager/Regional Director of any non-routine situationsOther duties as assigned by managementQualificationsMust be motivated and have a high energy levelMust be customer-centric, demonstrating a desire to be of serviceMust be organizedMust be able to excel in high-pressure environmentsMust be able to follow written and verbal instructionsMust have a calm and friendly demeanor at all timesMust have a working knowledge of our menu items including signature beveragesMust be respectful of all customers, managers, team members, and vendorsMust be able to recognize common signs of intoxication and know-how address the situation following Genghis Grill standardsMust maintain all required state and local food and alcohol certificationsMust be available to a variety of opens, swings, and closes including weekends and holidaysPhysical RequirementsMust be able to lift/carry up to 25 lb.Must be capable of constant walking, standing, stooping, and reaching in any directionMust have manual dexterityIf you need any accommodation from Genghis Grill to enable you to perform essential job functions, please let us know
