Explore different roles within the company to find the best fit for your skills and interests.The Role:As a Buyer/Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient planning and procurement of materials to support production and operational goals. This position is responsible for managing demand, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and coordinating closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and continuity of supply.You will leverage ERP/MRP systems and data analytics tools, including Power BI, to monitor performance, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making. This role requires a strong systems mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze and resolve complex supply chain challenges.Key Responsibilities:Major areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:Safety minded in all work activities; suggest and recommend safety initiatives; commitment to safe work habits, maintaining work are organized aligned with 5S.Plan and procure inventory items to maintain stock levels to support business.Maintain adequate stock levels while assisting the company in achieving inventory goals.Problem-solve and supply information relating to purchasing and receiving; must develop good working knowledge of ERP.Manage inventory, levels, schedules and availability of selected items, either manufactured or purchased, to meet production schedules.Interface with manufacturing personnel, the purchasing department and supervisors on materials status and production planning issues.Review inventory discrepancies to identify root causes and either recommend corrective actions to appropriate personnel or enter inventory transactions in ERP.Develop and maintain inventory reports that drive material replenishment across product groups and perform analysis on an as-needed basis.Leverage ERP, DDMRP, Power BI reports and other systems to execute day-to-day inventory control, to consistently achieve fill rates while minimizing excess inventory.Continuous inventory review.
