Equipment is provided.BASIC FUNCTION:As a Student Loan Advisor II, you will serve as a trusted guide for clients navigating their student loan refinancing journey. Acting as their dedicated point of contact, you'll deliver a high quality, personalized experience by providing timely updates, gathering and processing required documentation, and helping clients understand the best options available to meet their financial goals. You will collaborate closely with our Student Loan Specialists and Underwriters to ensure a smooth, efficient, and supportive application process from start to finish.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Manage a pipeline of clients at various stages of the application process, communicating proactively via phone, email, and text.Gather and verify documentation needed to support accurate lending decisions.Present customized loan options, explain credit decisions, and guide clients toward solutions that best fit their refinancing needs.Monitor application progress to ensure files remain accurate, complete, and moving efficiently through the process.Partner with underwriting to resolve documentation discrepancies and request clarifications from clients.Maintain detailed and organized records of all client interactions.Support senior team members with sales and service administration tasks as needed.Actively contribute to team discussions, process improvement, and collaborative problem solving.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND TRAINING:Highly self motivated, with strong organizational and analytical skills to independently manage a client pipeline.Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to influence positive outcomes.Experience with Salesforce or loan origination systems preferred.Strong communication abilities with the capacity to explain complex information clearly and provide constructive feedback.Customer focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.WORKING CONDITIONS:Ability to sit for extended periods.Ability to lift 10/20 lbs occasionally.Periodic travel may be required.REQUIREMENTS:BA/BS degree in Business or a related field ORAssociate degree with 1/2 years of experience in loan processing, underwriting, or bank lending.SouthEast Bank is an equal opportunity employer.
