Nutrition & Labeling ConsultantWe are seeking a Nutrition & Labeling Consultant to join our client. This person will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance of menu and product data. This role supports nutritional analysis, recipe development, and menu validation, partnering with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality standards across all offerings.This will be a contract thru the end of the year that will be onsite 2-3 days per week here in Atlanta. Key ResponsibilitiesNutritional Analysis & TestingConduct nutritional analysis for existing menu items to ensure accuracy and compliancePerform yield and portion testing for both current and new menu itemsSupport onsite product testing for new menu development initiativesCoordinate third-party laboratory testing as neededMenu Review & ValidationReview menu items for nutritional accuracy and alignment with current specificationsUpdate calorie counts, allergen information, and product details as requiredEnsure consistency between menu data and product specifications across all platformsPerform routine audits to validate compliance with regulatory standardsRecipe Development & Data ManagementBuild and maintain recipes within internal systems to generate accurate nutritional informationReview and revise recipes to align with regulatory requirements and quality standardsCreate new recipes in accordance with approved guidelinesValidate recipe weights, ingredient specifications, and portion standards for accuracyCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather product and specification dataSupport menu launches by ensuring all nutrition-related information is accurate and completeCollaborate with project stakeholders to implement updates and maintain alignment across systemsData Integrity & ComplianceMaintain accuracy and integrity of nutrition data across systems and platformsManage system access and data controls related to recipe and menu management toolsEnsure ongoing compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and internal policiesQualificationsBS Degree in a food science, nutrition or similar discipline.5+ years of experience in nutrition, food science, dietetics, or a related fieldFamiliarity with nutritional analysis tools or recipe management systemsStrong attention to detail and data accuracyKnowledge of food labeling, nutrition regulations, and allergen standardsAbility to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams
