Outside Sales Specialist
Position Title: Industrial Sales Specialist
Division: Nix Corporate
Territory: Louisville, KY Market (75 mile radius)
Reports To: Nix Sales Manager
The Industrial Sales Specialist is responsible for not only maintaining existing commercial and industrial accounts, but also generating new ones within the eastern Kentucky market. This position will be responsible for generating new projects for all divisions within NIX (Custom Fab, Machining, Structural Fab, Shop Coatings, Field Coatings, Products, and R&M) in a variety of industries (manufacturing, transportation, commercial, heavy industrial, agricultural, and government). This position requires minimal overnight travel.
Our ideal candidate will
Service existing commercial and industrial accounts with exceptional customer service.
Generate potential and new commercial and industrial accounts by qualifying potential sales leads.
Daily follow ups with customers and prospects using different touch points (email, phone, face to face, linked in, virtual, and cold calling)
Provide customers with product knowledge and design solutions for potential projects.
Provide Nix Metals Engineers, all division Project Managers, and Estimators enough project information to help generate designs, estimates, and proposals for customers.
Assist in the management of the project through the entire production lifecycle.
Provide routine customer service and as needed resolve any unsatisfactory circumstances.
Ensures all company values are adhered to and promoted through leading by example and creating an environment of trust and teamwork.
Ensure General Managers are aware of any issues which can impact customer satisfaction or billing.
Follow all company and common sense safety policies, while using all required personal protective equipment, when necessary.

Desired Qualifications
Sales or customer service experience in an industrial environment is preferred.
The ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Self-motivated.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in the workplace.
Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills and CRM experience

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
