Facilities Technician (Adult Residential Facility)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Facilities Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, with the ability to supervise projects, maintain equipment, and fabricate solutions as needed. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in electrical systems, including logic controllers and schematics. The Facilities Technician will ensure that all facilities are operating efficiently and safely while adhering to company standards. Responsibilities Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate daily activities to ensure efficient operations. Maintain and repair various building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components. Fabricate parts or components as needed for repairs or improvements. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to facilities maintenance. Read and interpret schematics for electrical systems and logic controllers. Perform residential painting tasks as required to maintain aesthetic standards of the facility. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Document maintenance activities and report on the status of repairs or projects. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical systems. Familiarity with reading schematics and understanding logic controllers is essential. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Previous supervisory experience is a plus but not mandatory.
