About the CompanyOur client company is a Fortune 100 company offering a five part compensation plan and fully REMOTE Structural Engineering design opportunity.About the RoleThis person will develop structural design solutions for commercial, agriculture, and light industrial building projects that ensure occupant safety while delivering cost-effective, customer-focused results. The Structural Design Engineer will produce designs in accordance with project specifications and all applicable building codes and industry standards.ResponsibilitiesComplete design work accurately and within expected timelines.Apply value-engineering principles to create efficient, economical designs that support project profitability.Coordinate project details through clear communication and proper documentation with supervisors, clients, and team members.Review, check, and provide professional engineering seals for work completed by colleagues, as required.Participate in project meetings, estimating activities, research, and development tasks as needed.Maintain professional conduct, support a positive team environment, and adapt to evolving business needs.Uphold and promote safety policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring a safe work environment at all times. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution, with a focus on Structural Engineering.5+ years of experience in structural building design. Required SkillsProfessional Engineer (PE) licensure.Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings.Working knowledge of current building codes, standards, and common industry practices. Preferred SkillsStructural Engineer (SE) licensure.Experience working with pre-engineered metal building systems.
