Full Stack Developer

Overview In this full stack role, you will design, build, and enhance real-time, scalable systems for a mission-critical CBP program. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver Agile software development and operations/maintenance across the SDLC. The role combines hands-on development with architectural guidance to meet customer objectives and timelines. You will contribute to high-impact projects supporting national security missions and modernize critical systems. This position requires on-site collaboration in Ashburn, VA twice weekly and a dedication to delivering robust, secure solutions. ResponsibilitiesArchitect, design, build, and deliver scalable, real-time systemsEngage in and/or lead major deliverables through the software development lifecycleCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align designs with business objectivesApply judgment to select optimal designs under constraintsSupport Agile development and operations/maintenance for mission-critical systems Key requirementsBS/BA plus 12 years of related experience or MS with 10 years; or 4 years of related experience in lieu of degreeMust obtain CBP Background Investigation and be a US citizenExperience with AI/ML integrated in software lifecycle or AI/ML solutions for mission supportExperience with Agile Scrum and SecDevOpsExperience with containerized applications (Konvoy)3+ years’ cloud-ready development or cloud migration experience2+ years in Java, JSF, JavaScript, Spring, or Selenium2+ years in at least 2 of: React, Angular, Redux, HTML, CSS, ES6, JWT, JSON, Webpack, NPM, NodeProficient in Java and JavaScript including DOM and core concepts2+ years with Microservices/RESTful APIs and Axios for RESTHTML/CSS/Bootstrap proficiencyJWT and modern authorization experienceCollaborative mindsetStrong problem-solving and judgment in design choicesEffective communication with stakeholdersJavaJavaScriptReact
