Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position based in Hillsboro, OR, for a Food and Beverage Specialist. Responsibilities include preparing and serving high-quality meals that meet nutrition standards, handling food service operations, and maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment. The specialist will engage with students and staff to foster a welcoming experience and adhere to food safety and health regulations. Additional duties may include inventory management, assisting with meal planning, and providing support for various school events requiring food and beverage services. Qualifications Proficiency in Food Service and Food & Beverage management with a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.Customer Service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.Solid Culinary Skills, including meal preparation and kitchen equipment management.Strong Communication skills to work effectively with staff, students, and stakeholders.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Previous experience in a school or institutional food service setting is a plus.Possession of required food handler certifications as per local regulations.High school diploma or equivalent; further training in culinary arts or food service management is an advantage.
