Crew Leader Hardscaping
**Job Overview:**
You will lead crews of 2-4 team members and oversee assigned installation and construction jobs ensuring that all work performed is done to the highest standard, on time, and to budget. Positions are full time only and seasonal--approximately March through December. Qualified applicants will have a desire to create inspired outdoor living spaces for our clients, will value teamwork, and will have a positive and upbeat attitude
**Responsibilities:**
- Directly supervise and manage a team of construction professionals in hardscaping
- Ensure all construction projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and within the specified timeframe and budget.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and make adjustments as necessary.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Train and mentor team members to improve their skills and knowledge of construction techniques and best practices.
- Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure timely completion and minimize costs.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by enforcing safety protocols, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations, and promoting teamwork and camaraderie.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a Crew Leader or in a similar leadership role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
- Proficiency in various construction trades, including but not limited to cabinet installation, fabricating, concrete finishing, trim carpentry, glass installation, electrical, restoration, stucco, and drywall.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to perform hands-on tasks and work in a construction environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.90 - $21.16 per hour
