Term of Employment: Part-time as needed, no benefits eligible, up to 3 or 4 nights/SaturdaysPer month (M-TH 4:00 pm- 8:00 pm, Fri 4:00-6:30, Sat 7:30-4:30)/Campus locations will rotateSalary Range: $45.00/Per hourSummaryThis is an administrative position responsible for assisting in the management/supervisor of the JTED campus; coordinating and supervising personnel within the established Governing Board policies. Provides leadership in the implementation of the district's instructional programs, community relations, and projects. The successful candidate for this position must be able to work evenings and Saturdays.Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesThe list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented.Maintains a positive culture and climate on JTED campusesSupports curriculum development and premier instruction on JTED campusesOverseas the reporting of student and staff health status to the Pima Health Department, communicates with families, and tracking of dataWorks in partnership with the principals in discipline issues on campusesCollaborate with the principals in monitoring the safety and security of campusesAssists teachers with delivery of curriculum to help Special Ed/504 students meet state CTE standardsWorks with the principals in monitoring central campus student achievement, attendance and disciplineAssists the principals in handling facility issues at campusesCommunicates regularly with relevant stakeholdersAssists with distribution/inventory of snack and meal counts if applicableAssess with collecting, analyzing, monitoring Student Services dataAbility to work evenings and weekendsReports directly to the Chief Academic OfficerPerforms related duties, as assignedQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. ReasonableAccommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Minimum Qualifications/Education And/or ExperienceThree years' experience in K-12 education, preferably at the high school levelMaster's Degree in Education or equivalent, from an accredited universityValid Arizona Administrative Certificate by August 1, 2022Valid Arizona Principal CertificateValid Arizona Teaching CertificateValid IVP Fingerprint CardMust possess a valid Arizona Driver LicenseProof of immunity to rubeola (measles), or MMR immunization verification (required if born after January 1, 1957)Negative TB test within the last yearPreferredArizona Qualified EvaluatorExperience as an administrator or director of programs, schools, etc.Experience handling student disciplineExperience as a teacher mentor, instructional coach, or evaluator of teachersExtensive knowledge of Arizona career and technical educationExperience in managing Professional Learning CommitteesBilingual (Spanish/English), but not requiredPhysical TasksWork is performed in an Indoor/outdoor environment.
