Order correct quantity and type of paper.Shift paper rolls and locate on press.Set up splicer for continuous feed.Participate in make – ready and hang plates.Fill ink fountains and checks conductivity.Performs initial check out.Act as second press operator where required.Enter required shop floor data into computer.May handle hazardous waste as part of daily job functions.QUALIFICATIONSMonitor/Assess performance of yourself and others to make improvements or take corrective actionsAbility to perform basic math functionsMust have the ability to effectively communicate both written and verbalMust be dependable, reliable and responsible in fulfilling obligationsMust work well with othersMust be flexible and open to change when neededAble to follow instructions and make decisionsMust be proven self-starter to complete projects/work ordersMust have some printing experienceThe ability to work 10-to-12-hour shifts  PERFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or GEDMust have some printing experienceMinimum 1-year Press Room experienceAbility to interpret and utilize various units of measure and their conversions PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Prolonged periods of standing while setting up and operating equipment Continuously bending, twisting, kneeling, and squattingMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.    CJK Group is an Equal Opportunity employer.
