Overview / SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Software QA Engineer with strong expertise in API testing, cloud-native application testing, and user acceptance testing. This role will focus on validating cloud-based platform services, managing quality assurance processes, supporting automated testing initiatives, and ensuring high-quality software releases in a cloud environment.This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days per week onsite.Key ResponsibilitiesManage formal deliverable acceptance reviews against documented acceptance criteriaValidate containerized application deployments and software component complianceVerify cloud-based AI deployment configurations and architecture complianceDesign, build, and maintain automated test suites for backend services, APIs, and data pipelinesDevelop frameworks to evaluate AI engine output quality and accuracy benchmarksCoordinate and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with business stakeholdersCreate and manage bug tracking workflows, including prioritization, escalation, and SLA tracking in JiraPerform regression testing for new application and container releasesDefine and maintain test environments that align with production configurationsProduce quality metrics reports covering defect trends, SLA compliance, and test coveragePlan and execute integration testing across platform services and telemetry pipelinesRequired Qualifications4+ years of professional software quality assurance experienceExperience testing cloud-native services and containerized applicationsStrong experience with API testing using tools such as Postman, REST-assured, pytest, or similar toolsWorking knowledge of cloud infrastructure concepts including containerization, networking, IAM, and storageHands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Pub/Sub, BigQuery, GCS, or Cloud RunExperience developing and executing functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testingExperience creating and maintaining reusable test cases tied to acceptance criteriaExperience coordinating and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholdersStrong Jira experience including dashboards, reporting, defect tracking, and workflow managementExperience planning and executing integration testing across distributed platform servicesAbility to write clear and actionable defect reportsStrong understanding of software acceptance criteria and quality validation processesPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with AI-assisted testing or evaluation of AI/LLM outputsExperience using Dynatrace or similar application performance monitoring toolsKnowledge of QA methodologies including shift-left testing, risk-based testing, and test-driven developmentExperience managing quality gates within CI/CD pipelinesExperience with performance, load, and scalability testing for cloud-native APIsISTQB certification or equivalent QA trainingExperience in automotive or manufacturing environments is a plus please share your resume at tejasvi.j@neotechusa.com
