Details Acute care inpatient PT unit at a 426-bed MAGNET-designated hospital Caseload of approximately 10 patients per day, with an emphasis on orthopedic and stroke cases — no wound care required Facility is a Stroke Certified Center with a heavy orthopedic caseload Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts, 8:00–18:30 Minimum of 2 weekends required per month Block scheduling availability is at manager discretion Charting done in Epic EMR Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state — refusal to float may result in assignment termination Free parking available on-site Requirements Minimum 3 years of acute care physical therapy experience required Current BLS certification required Active state PT license required (license required if applicable) Epic EMR experience required Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application — scheduling requests related to outside employment will not be considered Scheduling requests made after submission or offer may be denied; failure to honor outlined schedule could result in contract termination Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility should inquire about local pay rates 13-week contract American Traveler Job ID #P- .
