DevOps Engineer
Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to support cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, application deployment, monitoring, and operational excellence initiatives. The engineer will work closely with development, architecture, security, and support teams to build scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions.The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience in AWS, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, Kubernetes, deployment automation, and production support.Key ResponsibilitiesAWS Cloud EngineeringDesign, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure.Provision and manage cloud resources across AWS environments.Optimize cloud resource utilization, performance, and cost management.Support multi-environment deployments including Development, QA, UAT, and Production.Infrastructure as CodeDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using:TerraformCloudFormationAutomate environment provisioning and configuration management.Implement reusable infrastructure modules and templates.CI/CD Pipeline DevelopmentBuild and maintain automated deployment pipelines.Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices.Support automated testing and deployment workflows.Enhance release management processes.Containerization & KubernetesDeploy and manage applications using:DockerKubernetesAWS EKSSupport container orchestration and cluster administration.Troubleshoot containerized application issues.Monitoring & ObservabilityImplement monitoring solutions and operational dashboards.Configure alerts and incident notification mechanisms.Analyze system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.Maintain availability, reliability, and scalability standards.Security & ComplianceImplement IAM policies and security controls.Support vulnerability remediation and compliance initiatives.Participate in DevSecOps implementation.Ensure adherence to enterprise security standards.Production SupportSupport application deployments and release activities.Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.Participate in incident management and root cause analysis.Provide on-call support as needed.Required Technical SkillsAWS ServicesStrong hands-on experience with:EC2S3IAMCloudWatchLambdaVPCRoute 53RDSSecrets ManagerSNS/SQSEKSECSDevOps & AutomationTerraformCloudFormationJenkinsGitHub ActionsGitLab CI/CDAzure DevOps PipelinesShell ScriptingPythonContainer TechnologiesDockerKubernetesAWS EKSHelmMonitoring ToolsCloudWatchSplunkGrafanaPrometheusELK StackSource ControlGitGitHubBitbucketRequired Qualifications7+ years of DevOps experience.4+ years of AWS cloud experience.Strong Linux administration experience.Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications.Experience implementing CI/CD best practices.Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation frameworks.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Preferred QualificationsFinancial Services or Banking domain experience.AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.AWS Solutions Architect Certification.Experience with:KafkaMicroservicesAPI PlatformsOpenShiftDynatraceServiceNowExperience supporting 24x7 production environments.EducationBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
