Overview As a senior member of the PTX Compiler Development team, you will help shape PTX ISA and its compiler infrastructure for Generative AI and DL workloads. You’ll collaborate with architecture and programming model teams to design next-generation GPU programming models and ensure robust, high-quality code generation. You will work across the compilation stack, from frontend to optimization interfaces, to support new AI/DL deployment scenarios. This role offers impact on GPU software foundations used by CUDA and non-NVIDIA compilers at scale. Key requirementsBS or equivalent experience; MS or Ph.D. in CS/CE or related fields6+ years in compiler frontend, language design, compilers, or linkersStrong C/C++ programming skillsAbility to use AI tools and manage AI-generated artifactsExperience in at least one area of compiler development (feature support, code generation, or infrastructure)Excellent communication skillsUnderstanding of any Processor ISA (GPU ISA a plus)Track record of developing and delivering software productsExcellent communication (verbal and written)Collaborative teamworkAnalytical thinkingCompiler frontend developmentProgramming language designCode generation
