Secure Software Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Apply secure coding practices and DevSecOps methods throughout the migration and modernization process. Implement artifact management to ensure consistent, traceable, and secure handling of build outputs. Enforce code-quality controls (e.g., review, validation, and quality gates) to reduce defects and security risks. Support compliance with Department of the Navy CIO policies and related security requirements. Provide targeted assistance and expert guidance to teams throughout the migration lifecycle. Qualifications & SkillsStrong experience with secure software development and DevSecOps toolchains. Proficiency in artifact management and build/release security practices. Ability to implement and operationalize code-quality and security controls. Knowledge of compliance expectations aligned to Department of the Navy CIO policies. Excellent problem-solving and advisory skills for technical migration efforts.
