We’re known for uncompromising fitment, finish, and quality — and we’re looking for the right engineer to help us scale.The RoleWe’re hiring a Product Development Engineer I to join our small, hands-on team. This role is about making projects move: 70–80% project management, 20% CAD and technical work. You’ll help turn raw laser scans into production-ready aero parts and manage projects end-to-end.What You’ll DoManage product development projects in Asana — from scanning to CAD to prototype to production.Work with 3D scans (Creaform, HandySCAN, etc.), process data, and prep CAD.Perform CAD tasks in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Rhino (fitment checks, revisions, mounting).Write clear engineering/manufacturing notes for suppliers.Coordinate directly with designers, engineers, and manufacturing partners.Help create repeatable systems that make development faster and more organized.Must-HavesLocated in (or able to commute to) Johnstown, OH — no remote option.Authorized to work in the U.S.Proficient in at least one CAD platform (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Rhino).Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated.Genuine passion for cars and aftermarket automotive culture.Nice-to-HavesExperience with 3D scanning and scan data processing.Alias/CATIA digital surfacing skills.Familiarity with carbon fiber, foams, metals, and mounting hardware.Experience with 3D printing, CNC machining, or composites prototyping.Background in the automotive aftermarket and/or personally worked on cars.What We OfferSalary: $80,000 – $110,000 (based on experience).Bonuses: Performance-based.PTO package.Open to discussing additional benefits.Direct impact on exciting projects — no corporate layers.Be part of a small, passionate team shaping the future of RSC.🚗 If you’re detail-driven, love cars, and want to see your work on high-end builds, this role is for you.
