Painter/Laborer

Responsibilities: - Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing cracks - Mix, match, and apply paint, varnish, shellac, enamel, and other finishes - Use brushes, rollers, or spray guns to apply coats of paint or other finishes - Cover surfaces with dropcloths or masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting - Clean up work areas and remove hazardous materials after completing the job Experience: - Previous experience in painting or related field preferred - Knowledge of different painting techniques and tools - Familiarity with plastering, stucco, and carpentry work is a plus - Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
