What you’ll do
As the Senior Human Resources Manager (Hybrid) for Utilimaster (A Shyft Brand) based at our facility in Bristol, IN , you will enjoy continuously seeking HR functional excellence and contributing to the company's overall HR strategy.
And while you establish your reputation as an innovative leader focusing on people, you will also be accountable for maximizing organizational capabilities, creating a high-performing culture, and cultivating a motivated work environment of trust, teamwork, accountability, and business ownership.
You will also:
Plan, direct, and achieve HR goals cost-effectively
Manage, coach, and foster a motivated, accountable workforce
Prepare all necessary reports and correspondence
Develop, monitor, and manage the department budget
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
Monitor team activities, and address problem areas
Collaborate to enhance HR processes across functions
Assist in workforce planning and staffing
Proactively engage external agencies for future vacancies
Manage talent acquisition for all positions
Support HR-specific performance metrics
Establish performance monitoring and assessment processes
Develop and retain talent, drive succession planning
Ensure compliance with legal requirements
Investigate and resolve associate-related issues
Interpret and apply policies consistently
Address the people implications of organizational change
Communicate and resolve issues with cross-functional teams

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business
Ten or more (10+) years of HR experience within a manufacturing environment in roles with increasing responsibility
Three or more (3+) years of HR management experience
Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations
Exceptional project management experience
Ability to travel up to 50%
Familiarity with Canadian employment laws is preferred and/or the willingness to learn
PHR, GPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
