This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within the food industry while showcasing your hospitality skills in a lively environment. *Responsibilities* * Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit * Take accurate orders using our POS systems, ensuring clarity and efficiency * Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety * Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments via POS systems * Upsell menu items to enhance guest experiences while increasing sales opportunities * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including food handling and beverage service procedures * Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations *Qualifications* * Must be 18 years of age * Prior food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred, but we will train the right candidate * Proficiency with POS systems * Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques * Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and the ability to build guest relations * Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours * Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions * Experience in food preparation, sanitation practices, and food safety standards within the food industry * Previous host/hostess or cashiering experience is a plus but not required; a welcoming personality is essential Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for hospitality shines!
