SummaryThe Nursing Assistant- Med/Surg/Tele- may perform these duties in a variety of health care settings such as outpatient - inpatient - home or community living care - acute - sub-acute. The NA will care for patients/residents with acute to chronic conditions. standing - stooping - sitting - bending - pulling - and pushingTransferring patients and objects may be requiredThe incumbent may be exposed to infected patients and contaminated materials and may be required to don protective clothing in isolation situations or operative/invasive proceduresThe incumbent may occasionally be exposed to patients who are combative secondary to delirium - dementia - or psychiatric disordersThe incumbent must be a mature - flexible - sensible individual capable of working effectively in stressful situations - able to shift priorities based on patient needsThe NA must complete annual Employee Health requirements -
