Operations Manager

ROLE DESCRIPTION We are seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to lead daily production and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced industrial environment. This is a player-coach role responsible for overseeing day-to-day plant operations, developing team performance, and building structure as the business scales. You will be expected to spend significant time on the production floor, working closely with operators to solve problems, improve processes, and ensure safe, efficient output. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations Lead daily plant operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety expectations are consistently met Act as a player-coach on the floortroubleshooting issues in real time and supporting the team directly when needed Supervise, coach, and develop a team of chemical mixers, driving accountability and performance Establish and reinforce standard operating procedures where structure is lacking Hire and onboard additional team members as the company grows Identify process inefficiencies and implement practical improvements to increase throughput and reduce waste Partner with leadership to prioritize initiatives and execute operational improvements Track and report on key operational metrics (output, quality, downtime, etc.) QUALIFICATIONS5-10+ years supervising in a manufacturing, industrials, chemicals or related environment Experience with chemicals, mixing, or hazardous materials strongly preferred Experience leading teams of approximately 1540 employees Demonstrated ability to operate in hands-on, fast-paced environments Strong people leadership: can set the tone, lead by example, hold people accountable and grow a solid team Safety-first mindset takes ownership of enforcing and improving safety every day Hungry and ambitious wants to grow, take ownership, and build something better Takes initiative and solves problems without waiting to be told Reliable, organized, and direct communicator Bilingual (Spanish / English) required
