This is an exciting opportunity to work on mission-critical systems supporting the Department of Homeland Security in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. If you hold an active DHS clearance and are passionate about building robust, scalable solutions, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain full stack Java-based applications for DHS programs and initiativesBuild and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices using Java/Spring Boot frameworksDevelop responsive front-end interfaces using modern frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.jsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, business analysts, and QA engineersParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectivesEnsure application security, performance, and compliance with federal IT standardsConduct code reviews and contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelinesRequirements:Active DHS clearance required3+ years of full stack development experience with Java and related frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot)Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworksExperience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience working in Agile development environmentsStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team settingBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferredAbout Us:Matrix Systems & Technologies Inc is a trusted technology solutions provider specializing in delivering innovative IT services to federal government clients.
