Job Location Toronto,Canada Onsite(Full time) Experience: Min. 4 years Qualification: BE(Civil)Position OverviewNeilsoft Canada is looking for an experienced Steel Detailer to join our growing team in Toronto. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in structural steel detailing using Tekla Structures, and a solid understanding of steel fabrication and erection standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed 3D models of steel structures using Tekla StructuresGenerate accurate fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and reportsInterpret architectural and structural drawings to produce shop detailsCoordinate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholdersEnsure detailing work adheres to industry standards and project specificationsPerform clash detection and resolve design issues proactivelySupport quality control and provide technical input during the fabrication processRequired Skills & Experience5 to 10 years of experience in structural steel detailingProficient in Tekla Structures (modeling, detailing, and reporting)Proficient in other 3D modelling softwares like SDS2 & Advance Steel is an advantageStrong knowledge of North American steel detailing standards (AISC, CISC)Good understanding of connections, steel fabrication, and erection practicesExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and in collaboration with global teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience working with international clients or offshore teamsFamiliarity with BIM coordination and clash detection workflowsPlease send your resume to careers@neilsoft.com with the job code in the subject line.Share the page email facebook twitter linkedin pinterest
