Server - Applebee's

Position Summary The Applebee's server will Delight our Guests by Exceeding Expectation by serving food and beverages to guests while accommodating the guests' needs in a courteous and timely manner following Applebee's Basic Service Steps and the Service Promise. The Server fosters a culture aligned with the TSFR Roadmap, including Our Core Purpose, Vision, Mission and Core Values. Essential Job Functions Primary Duties:Greets guests and interacts with every guest to create a friendly upbeat work environmentFamiliarize guests with the menu and make appropriate suggestions when requestedTake guests orders and input them correctly in the POS using the write, repeat and review ruleServe food and beverages using the Applebee's TEAM delivery systemPre bus table and sweep the surrounding area to keep it clean and comfortableCollect payment from customers in a timely manner using the QR code or POSCompletes daily cleaning work tasks and maintains a clean and safe working environmentAnticipate guests' needs in order to facilitate an enjoyable dining experience Educational / ExperienceExcellent customer service skills and the ability to exceed guests' expectationsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentGood attitude toward teamworkStrong work ethic, with a willingness to take initiativeConfident, outgoing demeanorFlexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekendsAbility to be mobile for a minimum of 4 hours, bend, stoop and lift up to 20 pounds Be of legal age to serve alcohol Physical and Mental Requirements Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
