Maintenance Electrician

Job Description Maintenance ElectricianVenture Dynamics is seeking experienced Maintenance Electricians for full-time opportunities supporting commercial, industrial, residential, and maritime operations. This position is based in a fast-paced environment requiring hands-on experience with electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. The Maintenance Electrician will perform work in accordance with electrical drawings, schematics, and applicable electrical codes while supporting maintenance and production operations. Assignments are project-based and may continue based on performance and contract demand.ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipmentInstall, maintain, and repair electrical components, controllers, and related systemsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and electrical diagramsPlan electrical installations and develop material lists for projectsInstall and maintain phone and data cabling systemsPerform preventative maintenance to support equipment reliability and operational efficiencyTroubleshoot electrical failures and diagnose system issues in commercial, industrial, and residential environmentsMaintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and completed work activitiesRequirementsMinimum 5 years of electrical maintenance and repair experienceCommercial, industrial, or residential electrical experience requiredAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and electrical drawingsExperience with controller installation and repairsKnowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting methods, and electrical codesExperience with phone and data cabling installation preferredStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and within a team environmentPreferred QualificationsCompletion of an electrical apprenticeship program or technical trainingExperience working in industrial facilities, commercial buildings, or maritime environmentsOSHA 10 certification preferredExperience supporting shipyard, manufacturing, or industrial maintenance operationsAbility to work flexible schedules, overtime, weekends, and on-call assignments as neededAdditional InformationWork is performed in commercial, industrial, residential, and maritime environments supporting maintenance and repair operations. Duties may involve confined or elevated spaces, active production areas, and physically demanding conditions. PPE is required in accordance with site safety policies, and respiratory protection may be required based on task or location. Reliable transportation is required to report to assigned project locations.
