Sales & Business Development Specialist - North Central Region The person will help drive and scale Enlightened Soil Corp's sales growth efforts in the North Central Region.The person in this position will play a key role in increasing the company's sales in new and existing agricultural markets by identifying new opportunities and building relationships with potential clients while maintaining and nurturing sales with existing customers.About the RoleThe person in this position will play a key role in increasing the company's sales in new and existing agricultural markets by identifying new opportunities and building relationships with potential clients while maintaining and nurturing sales with existing customers.ResponsibilitiesIdentify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities in target market(s) andgeographic region(s).Sell Enlightened Soil products, including EnSoil Algae, to growers, affiliates,distributors, and other strategic partners.Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing clients.Regularly communicating with key account contacts to ensure satisfactionand continued growth.Establish and expand new customer accounts while growing sales within existing accounts.Drive lead generation, prospecting, and client acquisition efforts to support revenue growth.Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to company sales growth objectivesas established by leadership.Manage and maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline within the CRM system.Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to implement businessdevelopment and sales strategies.Assist with the coordination of sales efforts across multiple territories and support othersales representatives as needed.Develop and nurture partnerships with key stakeholders within the agricultural industry.Represent the company at industry events such as trade shows, conferences, field days,and networking opportunities.Assist in the implementation, management, and data collection of research initiativesand product trials related to EnSoil Algae.Perform other related duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelors degree preferred but not required.5 years of proven sales experience in agricultural B2B business development or sales.A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.Strong knowledge of regenerative agriculture.Fast-paced, start-up company mentality.Proficiency with CRM and ERP software applications.Required SkillsExceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in orderto express technical and nontechnical concepts.Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities.Ability to handle a diverse range of responsibilities.Team player with a collaborative mindset.Able to work remotely and travel when necessary.Must have a vehicle and valid drivers license.Demonstrate problem-solving skills with an ability to overcome obstacles as anindividual and with group coordination.Proficient with technology and office software applications.High Ethical standards.Ability to communicate with all persons effectively and courteously.Good problem-solving skills.Ability to multitask and complete work while traveling.Organized with attention to detail.Equal Opportunity StatementWe are committed to creating an inclusive workplace and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
