American Implement is seeking aDetail Technicianfor our dealership in Leoti, Kansas.American Implement is looking for a Detail Technician who will be responsible for ensuring equipment and machinery is washed, cleaned, and detailed to a standard that exceeds customer satisfaction requirements. This technician will also assist with standard technician duties, including equipment set-up, routine maintenance, and small engine repairs. In addition, the role supports basic facility upkeep, maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and have a clean motor vehicle record. EOE.COMPENSATION:This is a full-time position with 45+ hours/week.Base hourly wage depends on experience.Eligible for overtime and quarterly incentive.BENEFITS:Paid Vacation, Sick, Holiday & Parental Leave401(k) plus matchEmployer-paid Health Insurance for employeeOptional Dependent Health InsuranceEmployer-paid Life + AD&D Insurance for employeeOptional Voluntary Life + AD&D Insurance for employee & dependentsEmployer-paid Short-term DisabilityOptional Dental & VisionOptional MASA Medical Transport SolutionsOptional AFLAC Supplemental InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Credit UnionAnd more...ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Wash, clean, and detail equipment and machinery prior to delivery to customer.Operate pressure washers and a variety of other handheld tools.Drive equipment and machines in dealership lot, plus some customer pick-ups and drop-offs.Assist with standard technician duties, including equipment set-up, routine maintenance, and small engine repairs.Support basic facility upkeep to maintain a clean and organized work environment.Perform touch-up painting on equipment and machinery as necessary.Follow production schedules and requirements for completion of assignments.Prepare all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.Participate in all training programs as required by the Department Manager.Maintain vehicles, tools and equipment in good condition and working order. Report and unsafe and inoperable tools, equipment, or vehicles to the Department Manager.Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion.Comply with all safety rules and regulations.Provide professional and courteous service and present a positive and professional image of the company.Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:Must be at least 18 years of age or older.High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.Ability to operate a forklift.Previous experience in detailing vehicles or equipment a plus.Knowledge of agricultural, powersports, and heavy equipment.Ability to operate farm or heavy equipment.Strong attention to detail.Time management and prioritization skills.Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.Excellent customer service skills.Valid driver's license and clean driving record is required.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching overhead, must be able to regularly lift 50 lbs. without assistance, grasping with both hands, pushing and pulling, working around moving machinery, driving a vehicle, extensive hours on a computer, hearing normal tones, and seeing. May be exposed to extreme weather conditions from extreme heat to winter blizzard conditions.
