Client: Private Equity Firm Role: Accounts Payable Lead Salary: $165,000 - $175,000/annually + Bonus & BenefitsLocation: Manhattan (3 days a week onsite) Job Description: Finance Systems & OptimizationSystem Administration: Serve as the functional owner for NetSuite and Concur, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.Continuous Improvement: Partner with IT to lead system upgrades, automate manual workflows, and scale tools to meet organizational growth.Data Integrity: Maintain rigorous standards for system functionality and financial data accuracy.Accounts Payable & ComplianceFull-Cycle Management: Supervise the AP lifecycle from invoice ingestion to final disbursement.Control & Governance: Develop, document, and enforce internal AP controls and policies to mitigate risk and ensure policy adherence.Tax & Reporting: Oversee year-end 1099 processing and vendor master file maintenance.Vendor Relations: Manage key vendor partnerships and resolve complex billing discrepancies.Treasury & Cash ManagementLiquidity Oversight: Lead daily cash management, including reporting, bank reconciliations, and cash flow forecasting.Transactions: Execute high-level banking activities, including domestic/international wires, ACH payments, and deposits.Banking Strategy: Monitor banking relationships and proactively recommend strategies to optimize fees and liquidity.Expense ManagementPolicy Ownership: Design and maintain global expense reimbursement policies that balance employee needs with fiscal responsibility.Auditing: Review employee expense reports for compliance, identifying trends and opportunities for cost savings.Team LeadershipMentorship: Lead and develop a high-performing team of 1-2 direct reports.Culture: Foster a departmental environment rooted in accountability, collaboration, and process innovation.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
