RESIDENT INSPECTOR – CIVIL ENGINEER (5 Year of Experience Required)(PE Required)

ENTECH is currently recruiting for the following position: RESIDENT PROJECT INSPECTOR – CIVIL ENGINEER Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Inspector to oversee and ensure the quality and compliance of construction projects. The Construction Inspector will be responsible for conducting site inspections, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that all work adheres to building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. This role involves close collaboration with contractors, engineers, and project managers to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during construction. Key Responsibilities: Participates in weekly construction coordination meetings. Prepares daily, weekly and monthly reports. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship throughout the construction process. Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports for project managers and stakeholders. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and address any non-compliance issues. Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project teams to resolve construction issues. Perform final inspections and verify project completion meets all required standards and regulations. Qualifications/Requirements: BS in civil engineering with at least 5 years of experience on construction management and/or inspection and/or design. PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER (PE) License Required. Active Member of the CIAPR Fluent oral and written skills in English and Spanish Proficient in Microsoft Office and Procore applications Transportation required Willing to travel within the island, most of the time in the metro area.
