As a member of the laundry team, you will be loading and unloading of washers and dryers. Responsible for the proper washing and handling of clean and dirty product (linens and terry), in a safe and efficient manner. What you will be doing: Operate machinery such as washers, dryers, chain hoists, loading/unloading conveyors, and product transportation equipment. Select proper wash and drying formulas. Loading and Unloading product from washers and dryers following the equipment's load capacity Deliver the product to the different working stations for finishing. Schedule loads into washing machines to ensure desired production goals, efficiency and smooth flow through finishing areas. Prioritize wash and dry as directed by the supervisors to accomplish the desired production goal. Work in a safe manner at all times Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and safe condition at all times. Keep machine integrity by locating and recognizing possible or present malfunctions on the equipment and rapidly report to supervisors and/or maintenance crew Make sure product is free of trash and other foreign objects before loading the machines. Ensures follows all safety for State & Federal & Company guidelines.
