Local CDL Driver
We are looking to hire a CDL Driver based at our Plainfield, IN. location.
Details
Home every night, local deliveries only, 95% of your driving will be under “Short Haul” exemption;
Hours are generally 6:00am -5:00pm; M-F., and when scheduled Saturdays 6:00am - Noon
Pay is $24.00- $26.00 plus Benefits (see below);
You’ll be delivering & picking up Building Materials via Flatbed with a Piggy Back Forklift to our customers jobsites;
Job Requirements
Must maintain a current CDL License and have a minimum of 1 year experience with current license;
Must have a current a D.O.T. physical exam;
Must be able to drive a Manual Transmission vehicle;
Must pass a pre-employment and random D.O.T. Drug screenings;
Must pass a Background check;
Must be able to climb and walk on a vehicles bed and truck mounted forklift;
Must be able to lift and carry 80lbs. unaided;
Must have ability to learn to operate a truck-mounted, Knuckle Boom, Crane and Forklift;
Must have ability to obtain a Hazmat endorsement if not already have one;
Must be able to stand for 30 minutes to an hour while unloading vehicle or operating equipment;
Must be able to work in all weather conditions, heat, cold, rain and snow;
