Senior Java Developer (Media and Entertainment)

Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite)Employment Type: Full-Time (Permanent)About The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Java 21, AWS, and Microservices to join our engineering team. This is a hands-on backend development role focused on building scalable, high-performance cloud-native applications.The ideal candidate has extensive experience developing enterprise applications using modern Java, Spring Boot, AWS cloud services, and CI/CD technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 21.Build and support Microservices using Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.Develop and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS.Work with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, and EKS.Design and develop REST APIs.Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the SDLC.Participate in code reviews, testing, and production deployments.Contribute to architecture discussions and technical design.Required Skills 8+ years of Java development experience.Strong expertise in Java 21 (experience with Java 17 and Java 11 is also valuable).Excellent knowledge of Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture.Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud.Experience with:AWS LambdaDynamoDBS3IAMEKSStrong experience with REST API development.Experience with NoSQL and relational databases.Experience with CI/CD tools:KubernetesJenkinsGitHubSpinnakerFamiliarity with Scala.Strong communication and problem-solving skillsSkills: boot,ci,microservices,spring,architecture,java,cloud,design,spring boot,aws
