Distinguished Engineer - Dynamo
Overview:
As a Distinguished Engineer at NVIDIA Dynamo, you will shape the direction of AI inference technology and guide production-ready, data center-scale inference platforms. You'll drive resiliency, performance, and scalability while collaborating across storage, networking, hardware, and performance teams. You'll lead open-source Dynamo initiatives and represent NVIDIA to customers, partners, and the AI community. This role combines deep technical leadership with hands-on influence to push the frontier of inference on NVIDIA hardware. Responsibilities:
- Lead critical initiatives around resiliency, performance and scalability for Dynamo and AI inference
- Serve as a technical expert in AI inferencing and drive production-grade inference systems at scale
- Represent Dynamo and NVIDIA with customers, partners, and the AI community
- Contribute to the Dynamo open source projects and guide technology direction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across storage, networking, hardware and performance
- Promote adoption of new AI/ML infrastructure advancements within the company
- Build and drive Dynamo toward being a production-ready, data center-scale AI inference platform
Key requirements:
- 18+ years of experience in systems software engineering
- Expertise in AI inference space, including production inference systems or inference engines
- Proven experience as a senior technical leader with influence across an organization
- Proficiency in Rust, Python, and GoFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skillsleadership by influencecross-functional collaborationstrong communication
