The Position
FUNDAMENTAL DUTIES
Reads and interprets all pertinent information on work orders, including order number, production and ship dates, shipping method, sales region, imprint method, item number and color, location of pieces, art number, imprint size, imprint color, and imprint location.
Maintains understanding of the operating procedure in the department.
Operates decorating equipment, which includes set-up, operation, teardown and maintenance.
Performs quality production at reasonable speeds, taking full advantage of the equipment available.
Maintains a consistent quality of imprint throughout the production run.
Maintains understanding of the flow of work on the production floor, from warehouse staging, through production, to shipping.
Operates, maintains, and performs routine service on any equipment or fixtures used in the completion of these tasks.
Ensures that targets are met for quality, productivity, throughput time and on-time delivery.
Adheres to safe work practice as indicated in the policy manual.
Maintains a clean, safe and well-organized work area.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
Attention to detail.
Good organizational skills.
Must be able to work well independently or with others.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
High School Diploma or equivalent
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Capable of lifting up to 45lbs.
Use of dollies and pallets
