Now Hiring: Flooring Master CraftsmanEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout The RolePainters USA is seeking experienced Master Craftsman to lead industrial flooring crews. This role is ideal for seasoned industrial craftsmen who excel at overseeing teams, coordinating production, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a strong safety-first culture. Foremen are responsible for directing daily jobsite activities, communicating with project managers, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.Compensation & BenefitsPay Scale:Base Hourly Pay: $24.25 per hourTravel PayDaily Per Diem: Overtime Benefits:Paid hotel accommodations 40 hours of paid leave after 90 days of employment (eligible for payout)Extra PTO after 3 years2 Paid Holidays + time-and-a-half if you work a holiday401(k) with company match after one year of serviceAccess to Corporate Chaplains & Care Fund Loan supportStop Work Authority for every employeeEligible for company health benefits after 60 daysPrimary ResponsibilitiesLead, supervise, and coordinate daily activities of industrial flooring crewsEnsure all team members follow safety protocols, jobsite rules, and required PPE usageReview project specifications, ensure surface prep and application meet required standardsCommunicate progress, delays, and resource needs to the Project ManagerConduct daily safety briefings and enforce a safety-first work environmentAssign tasks, manage crew productivity, and troubleshoot issues on siteMaintain accurate documentation, including jobsite reports, time tracking, and equipment logsEnsure all materials, tools, and equipment are properly used, maintained, and storedPerform hands-on work when needed to support production and maintain workflowInspect completed work for quality, correct deficiencies, and uphold company standardsCoordinate with other trades or contractors when requiredSupport training and onboarding of newer crew membersRequired QualificationsMinimum 3–5 years of industrial flooring experienceStrong knowledge of industrial coatings, surface preparation, and application methodsAbility to read and interpret job plans, specifications, and safety documentationProficiency with industrial tools, equipment, and spray systemsValid driver’s license and reliable transportationAbility and willingness to travel nationally for extended periods (4–5 months at a time based on job demand)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work safely in industrial environmentsStrong communication skills and proven leadership abilityBasic Plus certification (or ability to obtain quickly)Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)NCCER CertificationOSHA 10 or OSHA 30Confined Space CertificationExperience mentoring or training team membersWho Thrives In This RoleThis role is ideal for confident, hands‑on leaders who can motivate teams, solve problems quickly, and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
