A story told through regional and local sourcing, and will become the pulse of Covington and beyond: unique yet comfortable, casual yet refined, and timeless yet evolving.Ready to find out more?Job Requirements:While cleaning guest rooms, ensures cleanliness standards are metRemoves dirty towels and sheets from the guest room and replaces them with clean ones from the linen closetCleans, dusts and sanitizes all areas of the guest roomMakes bed, vacuums carpet and cleans tile area in guest roomRemoves room service trays, dishes, carts to service area landingsUses chemicals, cleaners and cleaning equipment properlyAdditional Requirements:Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English languageMust have a high school education or equivalent experienceA minimum of 1 year of experience in a hotel services environmentTeamwork:Maintain a good working relationship with other associates by promoting teamwork and fostering a harmonious working climatePartake in a positive work ethic and surrounding environmentStandards:Able to work alone without direct supervisionDemonstrate high degree of drive and determinationConstantly recommend service and product improvement to better the operationKeep the work area clean and tidy at all timesAttend all required meetingsFollow proper payroll and uniform proceduresProperly handle and report associate and guest accidentsMaintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental polices/service procedures/standardsAssist with responsibilities and duties in other departments and as assigned by management • Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotelWork Environment:Standard hotel settingPhysical Demand:Continuous standing 100% of the shiftInside 100% of the shiftLifting/pushing/pulling/carrying required up to 100 lbs. or more.
