This leader will oversee nursing performance, implement standardized best practices, and ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care across the organization. Specifically focused on the Maternal-Fetal Medicine service line, this role serves as a critical link between executive strategy and clinical execution.Key ResponsibilitiesLead facility-wide nursing operations and strategy within the service line, ensuring alignment with health system goals.Oversee nursing performance and clinical outcomes, reporting directly to the CEO and Chief Nursing Executive.Implement standardized best practices and evidence-based protocols to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.Drive quality improvement and safety initiatives specifically targeting maternal and neonatal health outcomes.Manage daily departmental operations, including staffing, resource allocation, and budget oversight.Serve as a clinical mentor and educator, fostering professional development and residency programs for nursing staff.Ensure continuous regulatory compliance and survey readiness for all state and federal healthcare agencies.Act as a key liaison between frontline clinical staff and executive leadership to facilitate transparent communication and operational excellence.QualificationsValid New York State RN licenseMaster's Degree in Nursing (MSN) with five (5) years of nursing experience, including three (3) years in a supervisory or teaching role; ORBachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) with six (6) years of nursing experience, including four (4) years in a supervisory or teaching rolePrior leadership experience in Maternal-Fetal Medicine strongly preferredBenefits include health insurance plans, flexible spending account programs, management benefits fund (MBF), tuition reimbursement, vacation and sick leave, family & medical leave act (FMLA), special leave of absence coverage (SLOAC), additional leave options, retirement savings plans (NYCERS, VDC, TDA 403B, 457, NYCE IRA), additional savings plan options, transit benefits, and municipal credit union (MCU) membership.Please note that specific benefits listed may only apply to managerial-level positions and are subject to the terms of the health system's management policy.
