The Culinary Server plays a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient meal preparation, providing exceptional dining service, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. This position is integral to creating a positive dining experience by supporting all aspects of meal service—before, during, and after meals—while upholding the highest standards of hygiene, organization, and teamworkEssential DutiesAssist in meal preparation and portion allocation according to the menu and weekly scheduleComplete resident checklist and report results to cook or Culinary Director (CD)Assist in meal service in accordance with sanitation standardsImmediately inform CD of any substandard food qualityMonitor food and beverage to ensure proper temperatureBuss tables and wash dishes using the full hands in, full hands out methodClean equipment as assignedMaintain dining room and kitchen area in clean condition, in accordance with community proceduresPrepare, handle, store, and dispose of food in accordance with state and federal regulationsClean workspaces, cooking and serving equipment, trays, and dishes according to standardsLoad and unload the dishwasher, store clean equipment and dishes properlyWork Experience RequirementsA high school diploma or equivalent requiredSuccessful completion of all ServSafe educational requirementsExcellent organizational, time-management and computer skillsEnthusiasm and a positive attitudeWork independently, maintain confidentiality and professionalism, and be a positive leaderDemonstrate practical interpersonal skills as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skillsMaintain good working relationships with residents and co-workersProficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds and bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach and sit for long periodsWillingness to perform additional duties as assignedWhat We OfferWe offer On-Demand Pay so you can access wages you’ve already earned between paydays.
