Bartender/Server

SUMMARY: Bartender/Servers ensure that patrons have an enjoyable drinking experience by providing quality customer service. Bartender/Servers work in the front of the business taking orders, serving food and drinks, and removing glassware from the bar top and tables in a timely manner. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: · Welcomes guests in a professional manner. · Interacts with guests to take accurate drink orders. · Leave a positive impression of the establishment's friendliness, excellent service and high standards. Must be able to carry natural conversation with guests without sounding scripted or intrusive. · Ensures prompt delivery of order to guest tables. · Handles cash and credit cards according to the company’s policies and procedures. · Perform side work per our opening, closing and side work checklists. · Keeps a clean work area throughout the assigned shift. · Balances cash drawer at the closeout of each server. · Other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIRMENTS: · Basic skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops and total all other charges. · Extensive beer, liquor & wine knowledge. · Understanding of Idaho Liquor Laws. · Monitor guest consumption to help limit over serving of alcohol. · Must have flexible work schedule and able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. · Must have reliable transportation. · Must be 21 years of age. WORKING CONDITIONS: · Must be able to stand and walk throughout the shift · Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. at shoulder height and push/pull up to 75 lbs.
