Job Description
Local Columbus multi-family owner/operator is seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a Property Manager for a 140 + unit residential property in Grove City. Are you ready to directly oversee and manage a well-located multifamily property? Property Manager will work with a great team, work closely with ownership, and have the ability to directly affect the success of the property!Responsibilities include: Managing all aspects of the property, including but not limited to the following:Manage leasing, answer rental inquiries, and show apartments to prospective residentsReview and process rental applications and prepare leasesManage delinquency and monitor rent collection, collect rents, filing evictionsMaintain positive relationships with current and future residents via answering phone calls, emails, and stop-ins at the rental officeCoordinate and oversee property vendors and contractorsMaintain the upkeep and appearance of the propertyManage and coordinate unit turnoversOptimize the use of the Property Management software in operating the property and accurately maintain all records in property management softwareMonitor and track competition and make marketing recommendations based off of those findingsMaintain property marketing campaignsWork to ensure tenant requests or complaints are responded to in a timely mannerOversee and work with property maintenance staffKeep, record, and organize records and files based on company requirementsHelp to prepare and monitor operating budgetsPrepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reportsAccomplish financial goalsReview and approve payablesType correspondence and update spreadsheets in ExcelOther duties and special projects as assignedSkills and Qualifications:Work well with a team and ability to motivate and lead othersMust have a minimum of 3 years of experience in residential leasing/on site at an apartment propertyPreferably a minimum of 2 years' experience as a site manager for a 75 + unit propertyExceptional customer service and sales skillsExcellent time management and organizational skillsCustomer service-orientedHave excellent verbal and written communication and provide clear and concise communication to team membersExcellent problem-solving skillsStrong math and writing skillsMust be able to work independently and multi-taskMust have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Equal Opportunity EmployerEmployer Benefits:Paid time offDental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceEmployer sponsored IRACompany DescriptionClosely held Real Estate Owner, Operator, and Developer.Company DescriptionClosely held Real Estate Owner, Operator, and Developer.
