Senior Accountant

About the Role: As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial statements and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. You'll collaborate with various teams across the company to drive process improvements and support our financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and ensure the integrity of transactions throughout the accounting cycle. Ensure accuracy in system postings, with a focus on correct lease accounting. Maintain compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting, including account analysis and reconciliation. Participate in annual financial audits, preparing supporting schedules and fulfilling other audit-related requests. Research and interpret accounting standards, applying them effectively. Perform other tasks as assigned. What We're Looking For: Tech-Savvy Learner: Quick to adapt to new technologies and systems. Multitasker: Capable of handling multiple tasks independently with flexibility and meeting deadlines. Data Pro: Comfortable working with large data sets. Problem Solver: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach. Communicator: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Organized: Superior organizational and time management skills. Excel Expert: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years in public or private accounting with extensive knowledge of GAAP and lease accounting. Experience with Great Plains Dynamics, Blackline, Planful, Dataserv, or SQL is a plus. Education: B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation preferred.
