Summer Migrant Program EL Aide, Grades 3-6 Approximately June 15, 2026 - July 24, 2026 Kent City Community Schools is a public school district in Kent County dedicated to providing a nurturing environment and to educate all of our 1,200 students to be lifelong learners. We are looking for a compassionate and collaborative team member to work with our students to empower them to reach their full potential through a rigorous curriculum and instructional excellence! Collaboration, Compassion, Honest Communication, Growth Mindset, and a Culture of Opportunity Ability to work successfully with students, staff, administrators and community members Knowledge of instructional strategies for literacy and/or mathematics Must be flexible Ability to maintain confidentiality Other qualifications as deemed essential for successful performance in the position Experience Working with Migrant and At-Risk Student Populations Fluent Spanish Literacy Skills (Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing) Work with staff to identify appropriate materials and strategies to ensure successful student interventions Work with students in small groups and/or one-on-one Provide staff with feedback on student performance and progress Assist staff in relevant data collection and analysis, including participation in data-based decisions related to intervention implementation and modification Participate in school activities as a member of the school community Supervise students in a variety of settings Maintains professional competence through in-service education activities provided by the district and self-selected professional growth activities Performs other such duties as may reasonably be assigned High School Diploma or equivalent Spanish speaking ability preferred Show passion about the teaching/learning process for every child Build relationships with students and families Provide customer service atmosphere for our community Grant Funded Position Collaborative working environment A focus on students, staff and community
