DescriptionWe are seeking qualified candidates for a Bilingual (German/English) Senior Audit Associate to join our practice in our Atlanta, GA office. You will work with a select team providing auditing services to predominately US-Inbound International Businesses (primarily German/European) in the manufacturing and distribution industry. Our ideal candidate has been with a public accounting firm and is experienced in audit, general accounting, and managing multiple engagements.What you will do:Lead and supervise audit engagements in a variety of industries concentrating on manufacturing and distributionDevelop and execute audit programs by documenting objectives, identifying risks, evaluating controls, and designing test procedures associated with the audit scopePerform technical accounting research on a variety of accounting topicsProvide timely and high-quality services and deliverables that exceed client expectationsMaintain active communication to manage expectations and ensure client satisfactionPrepare clear, concise workpapers and other communicationsImpart knowledge, facilitate staff development, and provide training and learning experiencesEffectively delegate and oversee the work efforts by setting goals, providing resources and removing obstaclesTeam with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development opportunitiesProvide timely training, coaching, and performance feedback to staff associatesWhat you need to bring:Native or fluent proficiency in the German language is requiredMinimum 3-5 years of professional experience including experience in public accounting BA/BS degree in Accounting or Masters degree in Accounting/TaxationDedication to teamwork and leadershipIntegrity within a professional environmentExcellent research, writing and communication skills in EnglishPreferred Qualifications:CPA license or similar certificationExperience in the manufacturing and distribution industryProSystem fx EngagementCCH AxcessWho we serve:Foreign-owned US subsidiaries, typically from German-speaking countriesClients in many industries including manufacturing, distribution, technology & fashionBenefits:We understand that talented individuals are drawn to companies that offer comprehensive benefits packages.
