Receiver/Stocker

Duties: - Receive and unload incoming shipments - Inspect packages for damages and verify contents - Organize and stock inventory in designated areas - Use a pallet jack or forklift to move heavy items - Maintain accurate records of received and shipped items - Assist customers with locating and retrieving merchandise - Operate a cash register for sales transactions - Package items for shipment or delivery - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the stockroom Skills: - Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members - Ability to operate a pallet jack or forklift safely and efficiently - Strong organizational skills to keep track of inventory and maintain order in the stockroom - Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures - Customer service skills to assist customers with inquiries and provide assistance - Familiarity with operating a cash register for sales transactions Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties and skills.
