We have plenty in store, from new experiences and enhancements to time-honored traditions that continue to make this lakeside retreat so special!We are currently seeking seasonal Tennis Instructor to join us for our upcoming summer season!Basin Harbor is a summer resort located on Lake Champlain. The tennis program operates from early June through Labor Day. Our tennis facilities consist of two Har-Tru courts, three All-Weather courts, and a Pro Shop. Two of the All-Weather courts convert to pickleball use. The Tennis Professional will offer instruction for all aspects of play including lessons and tournaments for all levels and ages.Responsibilities/DutiesInstruct and lead tennis and pickleball playInstruct programs with direction from the Recreation DirectorOversee rental of facility equipmentEnforce all club rules and regulations governing the use of the facility, equipment and other propertySubmit tennis-related news for the club newsletter and websiteEnsure all club members and guests receive prompt and professional attention to all their tennis needsMaintain an accurate record of all lessons and clinics given; provide reports on a regular basisInspect and maintain all physical areas constantlyRequirementsUSPTA or PTR certification preferredPrevious teaching experienceMust be highly motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethicAbility to teach tennis and pickleball to a diverse clienteleEvenings and weekends requiredMust be able to adapt to changes in a fast paced, dynamic, and sometimes intense work environmentBasin Harbor conducts pre-employment criminal background and reference checks on all employees.
